Samir Nureyev, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the COP29 Organizing Committee, spoke about the work done during the period since the last meeting and the implementation of the COP29 Action Plan within the framework of the COP29 preparation process. Samir Nureyev pointed out that the COP29 logo and slogan have been decided. “Let’s unite for a greener world!” was chosen as the slogan of COP29.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee emphasized that design and site preparations are currently underway in and around the stadium as he said COP29 and the Leaders’ Summit will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium.
Speaking about Azerbaijan’s priorities during COP29, Samir Nureyev pointed out that the preparation of the action agenda of the COP29 presidency is in the final stage.
