Thailand, Asia’s Tourism capital, saw a record boom in 2024.
Bangkok: Thailand’s Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, has been recognised for her roles in the promotion and development of Thailand’s tourism by the ASEAN Cultural Encouragement Council.
Having been with the TAT since 1999, Ms. Thapanee has held various positions within the TAT.
Record on Tourism Boom
Thailand, Asia’s Tourism capital saw a record boom in 2024 as about 5.98 million foreigners visited country in the first two months of 2024, a 48% increase compared to the same period last year.
