  • Beijing: Pakistan Navy’s Chief of Naval Staff Admiral, Naveed Ashraf, visited headquarters of People’s Liberation Army Navy, China, at Qingdao city to boost military ties and bilateral naval cooperation amid rising regional tensions.

During the visit to PLA’s headhunters, Naval Chief met Chinese Navy Commander Admiral Hu Zhongming to discuss bilateral naval cooperation and regional maritime security issues.

In his remarks, he highlighted the role of Pakistan Navy for regional maritime peace and stability through Maritime Security Patrol.

In his remarks, the Commander People’s Liberation Army Navy appreciated the role of Pakistan Navy in joint maritime security in the region and emphasized the importance of strong bilateral maritime cooperation.

The visit of the Naval Chief will further expand the defence relations between the two countries in general and between the armed forces in particular.

Since the launch of CPEC in 2023, both Pakistan and China have strengthened bilateral cooperation in diverse fields including defence and security sectors.
