The Sultan of Brunei has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, for a two-day visit. Upon his arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, he was greeted by Thai Prime Minister Srettha. The visit is anticipated to yield productive bilateral discussions and agreements.

This marks the Sultan’s first official trip to Thailand in 12 years. Additionally, this year commemorates the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brunei and Thailand, which were established on January 1, 1984.

His Highness Ruler Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum King Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, King and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is in Bangkok, Thailand for a two-day official visit which closes today.

Going with His Highness is His Imperial Height Sovereign ‘Abdul Mateen.

The ruler was invited on landing in Suvarnabhumi Worldwide Air terminal by Thai Head of the state Srettha Thavisin.
