- Kazakhstan-Singapore Business Forum was held in Singapore
Singapore: Kazakhstan-Singapore Business Forum was held in Singapore to mark a significant milestone in strengthening international business relations.
The event was held in conjunction with the State Visit of Kazakhstan’s President, His Excellency Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to Singapore.
Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Heng Swee Keat, was the Guest of Honor of the forum.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Singapore for a state visit on May 23, and this was the first visit by a #Kazakh President to Singapore in over twenty years.
On this occasion, SMF President Mr. Lennon Tan and Dr. Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan (CICK), signed a landmark Goodwill to foster the collaboration.
The MOU aims to strengthen bilateral business relations between Kazakhstan and Singapore, encourage collaborative ventures in each other’s countries and third countries of mutual interest; facilitate participation in conferences, seminars, trade fairs, and other events.
Participants of business community expected this partnership to open new doors for businesses in both nations, fostering growth and innovation.
The CICK, established in 2014, plays a crucial role in promoting foreign economic activity and attracting investments, aiming to drive the growth of entrepreneurship through international collaboration.
