Furthermore, Azerbaijan Airlines management has announced expanding its flight services for Pakistan.
According to sources, Azerbaijan Airlines is expected to operate its first flight from Baku to Karachi on April 18.
Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has already given permission to Azerbaijan Airlines to operate flights on the Karachi route.
After receiving the permission, Azerbaijan Airlines will now operate direct flights between Baku city and Karachi, the largest commercial hub of Pakistan.
It is worth mentioning here that Karachi will be the third route for Azerbaijan Airlines in Pakistan. It is already operating flights to Islamabad and Lahore.
The AZL’s flight service to Karachi will not only improve the accessibility of the air route network between Pakistan and Central Asia, but also will strengthen regional connectivity and economic exchanges, and will take the close connections to reach a new height.
