- Beijing to Host China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Sept 2024

Beijing: The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held in Beijing from September 12 to 16, 2024, showcasing innovation, featuring the latest achievements in digital, smart and green services trade.
The trade event will also showcase regional cooperation in areas like Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.
International and domestic companies from 148 countries and regions will attend the service trade fair, a major economic and trade event being held in China 2020.
The service trade fair offers both online and offline platforms to provide a safer environment for participants and traders.
The organizers have built a digital platform for the CIFTIS, where exhibitors can showcase their products, build a 3D immersive online showroom, host virtual meetings and seal the deals with their customers online.
The trade fair demonstrates to the world China’s unwavering efforts in continuing economic opening-up and promoting global economic cooperation, said Wang Bingnan, deputy minister of China’s Ministry of Commerce.
The service industry is taking up a larger share in global economic and trade cooperation, and China is willing to deepen its cooperation with countries around the world in the service trade sector and promote economic globalization towards a more open, inclusive, balanced, and win-win direction, adds Wang.
Media registration is now open for reporters, running from August 21 to August 29.
The 2024 CIFTIS will emphasize new and quality productive forces and create specialized exhibits. The high-level design showcase will focus on innovation, featuring the latest achievements in digital, smart and green services trade, as well as regional cooperation in areas like Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.
