Hello, dear all,
Fujian International Communication Center is organising photo and story collection, showcasing the transformation of China through eyes and experiences of foreigners.
Fujian province, located on the southeast coast of China, was an important starting point and birthplace of ancient Maritime Silk Road. Today, Fujian province has become a core part of the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road for being a hub for transport, a platform for trade and economic cooperation, a pilot area for institutional innovation and a center for people-to-people exchanges.
Fuzhou city, the capital of Fujian Province, is a gateway to the Maritime Silk Road. Port City of Quanzhou was the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. The city, located in Fujian province of South East China, has a long history of friendly exchanges with the Muslim world, especially the Saudi Arabia, as this port city had earned the reputation of being the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road.
- Who is eligible for submission?
Foreign travellers and tourists who have had connections with China over the past 75 years can participate in the collection of old photos and stories about China.
- Content for Submission:
Old Photos: Images that capture the cultural landscape, social changes, famous landmarks in China over the past 75 years, or photos with Chinese friends.
Old Stories: Personal experiences from significant moments in diplomatic relations between the two countries, your time in China, cultural exchanges, and more.
- How to Participate:
Please send your photos and stories to our email: [chnfjicc@gmail.com]. (For photos, include a brief description with the time, location, and background story.)
If your photos and stories are selected, we will contact you with further details and provide a contribution fee.
