Chinese Consul General Sun Yan visits Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Lahore: Newly-appointed Chinese Consul General H.E. Sun Yan visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where he met President Mr. Faheem ur Rehman Saigol. Vice President Mr. Khurram Lodhi, Commercial Consul Mr. Li Haoteng and Executive Committee members including Ms. Firdos Nisar, Mr. Ahad Amin Malik, Mr. Karamat Ali Awan, Mr. Abdul Majeed and Mr. Amir Ali also attended the event.
During the visit, H.E. Sun Yan highlighted the new opportunities under CPEC 2.0 in industry, agriculture, and minerals, and emphasized the importance of learning Chinese for future trade and investment.
LCCI President Mr. Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol stressed the need to increase Pakistani exports to China and highlighted the potential in agriculture, IT, textiles, leather, surgical instruments, renewable energy, and electric vehicles.
Vice President Mr. Khurram Lodhi appreciated the Chinese language courses for opening new avenues in trade and joint ventures. This year marks 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, reflecting a partnership based on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared growth.
